Xingguo Liang

Prof. Dr. Xingguo Liang graduated from College of Chemical Engineering, Tianjin University, for Bachelor (1988-1992) and Master (1992-1995). After working in Tianjin University as a lecturer, he got his Ph.D degree in 2001 from Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, University of Tokyo, Japan. As a postdoc, he worked in Center for Advanced Science and Technology, University of Tokyo from 2001 to 2003, and in Department of Biomedical Engineering, Boston University from 2003 to 2005. From 2006-2011, he worked in the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology and the Department of Molecular Design and Engineering, Nagoya University as an assistant/associate professor. Now, as a professor in OUC, his research interest is in the field of Nucleic Acids Chemistry, Food Science, Food Saftey, and Biotechnology. His group is working on the artificial regulation of DNA/RNA function, metabolism and detection of DNA/RNA, nanomaterial for food industry, etc. He published more than 70 papers on Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Chem. Am. Soc., Small, Nano Lett., Nat. Protoc., Chem. Comm., Chem. Eur. J., Chem. Asia J., J. Mater. Chem.,Biochemistry and FEBS J. etc.
