Description

The long-term goals of our research programs include 1) food source derived bio-functional substances, such as bioactive peptides, collagen, glycoproteins and flavonoids, from marine biological resources; 2) utilization of the aquatic processing byproducts; 3) development of functional food ingredients and functional foods. The research schematic in our current projects includes purification and identification approach, structure-activity relationship, in vitro cell culture and in vivo animal study.
