2.Agricultural economic management Institute

The Agriculture Economic Management Research Institute has established a doctoral program in Agriculture Economic Management, a master’s program in Agriculture Economic Management, and a master’s program in agricultural promotion (Rural and Regional Development, Agricultural Technology Organization and Services). Primary avenues of research include:  


1. Agriculture Economic Theory and Policy. Primarily focused on leading theories of agricultural economics, drawing close connections between agriculture in China and coastal region agricultural reform and development. Investigation is conducted into topics including agricultural development strategies, agricultural economic structures, agricultural economic policies, rural development, and agricultural economic system organic construction.


2. Fishery Economic Management. This field of research is designed for the development of senior professional talent to meet the economic development needs of Chinese society. Industries and departments of focus include fisheries administration, marine usage planning and administration, fisheries development strategy formulation, fisheries resource utilization and sustainable development, fisheries enterprise management, aquatic product international marketing, formulation of aquatic product production and processing technical standards, research of aquatic product international standards, aquatic product international marketing, and international fisheries negotiations.


3. Agricultural Enterprise Management. This research field places a focus on rural enterprises and small- and medium-sized enterprises operational management, enterprise management consulting and diagnostics, enterprise management theory and practice, rural operations and management, agricultural industrialized operations, agricultural investment project assessment and management, agricultural entrepreneurial operations, and rural industrialization.


4. Urban and Rural Economic Development. This research field places a focus on agricultural industrialization and industry structure rationalization, rural industrialization, rural enterprise reform and development, rural urbanization, and coordination of urban and rural resource allocation.
