The 5th Better Process Control School (BPCS) cooperated by OUC and FDA was held in Yushan campus from June 3^rd to 8^th. All attendees have passed the examinations, and got the certificates approved by FDA. FDA official Mr. Dennis L. Doupnik and Evid Liu supervised the course.

BPCS training certifies supervisors of thermal processing systems, acidification, and container closure evaluation programs for low-acid and acidified foods (LACF/AF).These training courses must be approved by U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and FDA requires (21CFR 113 & 114) that each processor of low-acid or acidified foods for U.S. consumption must operate with a certified supervisor on hand at all times during processing. The topics of the training include 17 courses. OUC was approved by FDA from 2011, and the 5^th training was operated in June 2014.
