On 29 March, the team led by Prof. Dong Bo from the Fang Zongxi Center for Marine Evo-Devo of OUC published an article titled “Spatially-resolved single-cell atlas of ascidian endostyle provides insight into the origin of vertebrate pharyngeal organs” in Science Advances, in collaboration with Dr. Fan Guangyi’s team from Qingdao Key Laboratory of Marine Genomics, BGI Research.

The team led by Assoc. Prof. Shi Jian and Prof. Huang Fei from OUC’s College of Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences and Frontiers Science Center for Deep Ocean Multispheres and Earth System made significant progress in its research on mid-latitude ocean-atmosphere interactions.

The team led by Prof. Zhang Yuzhong from OUC’s College of Marine Life Science, Key Laboratory of Evolution and Marine Biodiversity, and Frontiers Science Center for Deep Ocean Multispheres and Earth System, published an article titled “Architecture of symbiotic dinoflagellate photosystem I-light-harvesting supercomplex in Symbiodinium” in Nature Communications, in collaboration with Prof. Gao Jun from Huazhong Agricultural University.
