The department of public administration has multilevel and relatively complete personnel training system. The administrative management and public utilities management (social security and social management) are the earliest admissions professional of undergraduate education. Master point layout covering the subordinate majors inside the firstclass discipline of public administration, such as administrative management,land resource management, social security, and educational economics and management. The independent recruitment of master of public administration(MPA) was started since 2006. There is a doctoral program (public policy and law) under the first class discipline of public administration belong to theindependent discipline. Ocean and environment are the research direction andfield of the department. Currently, the department possesses a team of teachers with balanced age structure and professional title structure, fecundity achievement, brilliant research feature, and academic influence in China.
