The library of Law and Political ScienceSchool built in the year of 2000 approved by Ocean University of China.Supported by chiefs of university and LPSS, the reference center is becoming adepartment with a variety of books, favorable environment, and modern equipmentwhich can offer excellent service for teaching and research. In recent years,we invest one million RMB Yuan in reference center, and keeps an annual budgetat 200,000RMB Yuan.

The area of reference center is about 600 squaremeter, and it has more than 40,000 volumes of books, more than 100 kinds ofChinese Journals and 16 kinds of English Journals.

In order to let our teachers and studentsaccess to our references conveniently, we compile more than 10 kinds ofreference digest by ourselves. The case study is very important for law study,so we purchase nearly 200 case dishes, because law cannot live if withoutpractice.

We have been cooperating with many famousuniversity library at home and aboard, like Korean Yonsei University lawinstitute, Korean University law institute, East Asia University law institute,Taiwan Ocean University law institute, especially the law school library ofBaltimore, Maryland, USA, who has donated more than 14,000 volumes of books forus.
