Profile
Feng Cui receivedhis bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctor’s degree in Philosophy fromJilin University in 1990, 1995 and 2001, respectively. He spent three yeas as apostdoc at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences' sociology institute from2001 to 2004. He advanced to a professorship and doctoral tutor in 2006 and2012, respectively. Mr Cui served as deputy dean of the school of law &political Science since 2006 and he was appointed party secretary of the Schoolof law & political science in 2012. Now he is the project director ofsociology in provincial-level key disciplines of Shandong 12th Five-Yeah Plan.He was elected in New Century Talent Supporting Project by education ministryin 2011. He became members of China national instructive committee of sociologyeducation in 2012 (membership from 2013 to 2017). He is also the chief editorof China Ocean Sociology Research and Ocean and Environmental Sociology.
Mr Cui inventedthe filed of marine sociology in China. He established Chinese marine sociologycommittee and was elected chairman of the committee. Mr Cui established theforum of Chinese marine sociology. The forum has been successfully held fourtimes since 2010 in Harbin, Nanchang, Yinchuan, Guiyang, respectively.
