Dr. Han Mei has been working as an instructor of Sinology Department, College of Liberal of Arts, Ocean University of China from the year of 1994 to date.
She earned her Ph.D. degree in Classical Chinese Literature from Shandong University and has been teaching Chinese language as a second language in Ocean University of China since 1994. The courses she taught include Intensive Reading of Chinese, Chinese Reading, Classical Chinese Literature, Audio and Video of Chinese people’s life and many others. She used to teach Chinese language in the National University of Laos, Lao P.D.R (1999--2000) and at the Confucius Institute of Texas A&M University (2010--2012).
Her research interests focus on Chinese Ancient Literature especially poetry of Ming and Qing Dynasty, and her papers published on this area in recent three years include Research on Huang Pei and his Poetry, Research on Gu Yan-wu’ Social Associations and Creative Practice in Jimo, Research on Zhangshi Poetry Society in Shandong at the Beginning of Qing Dynasty etc.
