Research Profile:
She has been involved in both teaching and research at the OUC Institute for Maritime Culture Studies since 1999. As one of the 5-member teaching team on maritime cultures headed by Prof. Qu Jinliang, she contributed to the creative construction of the maritime culture courses system, which won the first prize of the 2014 Shandong Provincial Teaching Achievement Award. Her current research project is to examine the interactions between Chinese maritime culture and German maritime culture in Qingdao at the beginning of 20th century.
