Zhang Wei, (born on October, 1955, from Dunhua, Jilin province), Doctor of Arts, Senior Editor. At the present time, he is the professor of the College of Liberal Arts, Journalism and Communication, Ocean University of China, director of the department of Journalism and Communication, master’s tutor and professor responsibility of the national cultural industrial research center in Ocean University of China. With 20 years’ experiences in media practice and management, he is a senior media expert and once served as the reporter, editor, editorial director, deputy managing editor and editor in chief, the president in five newspapers Now he is a member of the council of the Chinese Academy of Journalism Education, a member of Academy of Chinese Communication and a promoter of Chinese community newspaper Alliance.

1. Academic Monograph: Transformational Logic: the Study of Media Companies published by the Ocean University of China publishing house in December, 2007. This book is the first monograph about the study of media economics and management theory and practice from a business perspective and its preface is written by Yu Guoming, authority in the study of media economy and professor of the School of Journalism, Renmin University of China.
2. Academic Monograph: Modern Poetics published by the Times Literary Press in March, 2003 is a Ph.D. thesis. Its preface was written by the modern Chinese literary historian Sun Zhongtian.
