Sun Dehua is a lecturer in the College of Liberal Arts, Journalism & Communication of Ocean University of China. She received her master degree of Chinese language and Culture from Shandong University in June 2004. She was once dispatched as a Chinese language teacher to work for two years in Institute of International Relations of Moscow.
She teaches such courses as Chinese Intensive Reading, HSK Counseling, China's National Conditions, Courses on speaking, listening, characters and vocabulary, etc.
Her research interests include the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, pragmatics, and Chinese language education. She has published eight academic papers and edited two textbooks for primary and secondary schools. In addition, she is now in charge of two university research programs and participating in other three research programs from national, provincial to university levels
