This program aims to training academic talents on mechanical engineering who have solid and broad knowledge, are familiar with the advanced theory and technology on modern manufacture, modern control, mechatornics, testing and analysis of mechanical system and have the ability of development and design of new products, planning of manufacture process and management of equipments. The research field refers to mechanical design, manufacture and automation and mechatronics and so on. Engineering thermophysics(second level discipline which belongs to first level discipline power engineering, academic master program).
This discipline aims to training academic talents on power engineering and thermophysics who have solid and broad knowledge, are familiar with the advanced technology and method to deal with problems on power engineering and thermophysics and have the ability of innovation and management dependently and experience in field. The research field includes that thermo-energy, thermo-machinery, control of environment of manufacture progress and so on.
2 Curriculum
Numerical Analysis Method
The main contents of this course include: solutions of nonlinear equations, solutions of systems of linear equations, eigenvalues and eigenvetors, interpolation and approximation, numerical integration and numerical differentiation, solutions of differential equations and so on.
Machinery dynamics
Course Abstract:Modern machine equipment toward the direction development of high speed turn, reducing in weight, precise turn, the big power turn ect., this brings many new problems in the field of the machine design and manufacture. Machine Dynamics is exactly to satisfy above-mentioned request. This course includes machine vibration theories, and combines the engineering examples to make postgraduate students widen their knowledge, and also pay attention to development students to solve engineering actual problem of ability.
Modern signal analysis and processing technology
Course Abstract:This class addresses the representation, analysis, and design of discrete time signals and systems. The major concepts covered include: Discrete-time processing of continuous-time signals; decimation, interpolation, and sampling rate conversion; flow graph structures for DT systems; time-and frequency-domain design techniques for recursive (IIR) and non-recursive (FIR) filters; linear prediction; discrete Fourier transform, FFT algorithm; short-time Fourier analysis and filter banks; multirate techniques; Hilbert transforms; cepstral analysis and various applications.
Finite Element Method
Course Abstract:Principle of Virtual Work and Calculus of variations, Plane Stress & Strain FEM, axisymmetric & space FEM, FEM of dynamic problem, Finite element method of thermal conduction and other problems.
Mechanical & Electrical Integration Technology
Course Abstract:Nowadays, the mechanical and electrical integration technology has become widely used in scientific development and engineering technology and drawn great attention of engineering and technology circles by its generality and effectiveness. It has become one important part of computer aided engineering and numerical simulation associated with the rapid development of computer science and technology. This course provides students the basic principles of mechanical and electrical integration technology, sensing technology and driving technology of actuator and applications of mechanical and electrical integration technology in all areas of society.
Modelling and Simulation of Engineering System
Course Abstract:Introduction to common computer language, Matlab and its basic orders, high-level orders, plot function, control flow language, file management and PED Tool Box. Introduction to Adams, Fluent, Ansys and other engineering softwares.
Motion control technology and its application
Course Abstract: This course is a specialized one for postgraduate students of Electromechanical Engineering. The contents of this course are as follows: The working principle and application field of motion control technology, servo motors and their driven technology, sensors and controllers applied in motion control system, design method of motion control system, single axis and multi-axis control technology, network based remote motion control technology, etc. The courses will enable postgraduate students to acknowledge the working principle, architecture and application field of motion control technology, to grasp the design methods and implementation technology of motion control system and to acquire the ability to design required motion control system according to the engineering application.

Mechanical Design and Theory
Mechanical Design and Theory is one of the four branches in first discipline of Mechanical Engineering. This program mission is to train senior engineers and science researchers and develop graduates’ independence and creativity while strengthening their scientific and technical background. Research and teaching focuses on a fundamental understanding of mechanical design and automation problems. The graduates are engaged in the works of technical innovation and management in the areas of mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, light industry fields and so on, also can be competent for the works of teaching, scientific research and administrative management at universities, colleges, research institutions and government organizations.
