The
management science and engineering disciplines is committed to providing knowledge, tools andmethods, studying and solving the theory and practical application problems of construction, infrastructure, port andcoastal engineering project management of urban disaster prevention for the postgraduate.It emphasizes on the cutting-edge of development, theoretical approaches of innovation with the technical, economic and social characteristics of interdisciplinary. Furthermore, it is committed to promoting the abilities of solving the practical problems of management with the application of information technology.Through our education and research training, the postgraduates will not only become the outstanding engineers, but also the leaders intechnology, policy orindustry.


The research of the professional emphasis started in 1998, created a master's degree in 2003. Now we have a key laboratory, "information management Shandong Key Laboratory of Modern Engineering colleges", and an academic team of research and development, consisted of more than 15 professors and associate professors. We have already completed a number of national and local projects in four areas, obtained research results with the international advanced level.

Disaster Prevention and Reduction Engineering

and Protective Engineering


I. Introduction to the Subject


Disaster Prevention and Reduction Engineering and Protective Engineering in civil engineering disciplines is a new multidisciplinary discipline. It can service construction engineering, hydraulic engineering, road engineering, bridge engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering and so on. It is very important to the sustainable development of human society. Disaster Prevention and Reduction Engineering and Protective Engineering Master Station in our school is approved to set up in 2000. It has 3 doctoral tutor, 5 Professor and 14 faculty with doctorates. Currently it undertakes 3 national "863" plan, 4 items of national natural science foundation and more than 20 provincial scientific research project and transverse subject.


Main research direction: engineering structure dynamic analysis and hazard prediction; city and engineering system earthquake disaster prevention; Engineering structure damage mechanism and damage identification. The main research contents: dynamic analysis method and test technology of Engineering structure; city earthquake disaster prevention plan and management systerm development based on GIS; Damaged mechanism and fracture research of engineering structures; Ultimate bearing capacity evaluation and disaster prediction of engineering structures; Geotechnical engineering disaster prediction and so on.


Postgraduate research paper will be combined with the ongoing national, provincial, municipal research projects, and a large number of transverse research topic.


II. Educational Goal


The aim of Disaster Prevention and Reduction Engineering and Protective Engineering is to educate high -level personnel , able to win college teaching , scientific research or research and development of large engineering and management aspects of the work.


Postgraduate must have basic theoretical knowledge of solid mathematics, mechanics, computer application. Postgraduate must be proficient in reading foreign language material, and grasp the Disaster Prevention and Reduction Engineering and Protective Engineering discipline theory and technology research at the dynamic forefront;Postgraduate can imply modern basic theory and advanced technologies of calculation and experiment to carry out the effective research about the relevent technical theory, and have the ability to solve civil and hydraulic engineering and Disaster Prevention and Reduction Engineering and Protective Engineering related technical problems.

Architecture and Civil Engineering

Architecture and Civil Engineering
is an important part in the infrastructure, which aims to study and create city conformation environment, meanwhile, finish the construction and perfection of various engineering facilities. The area of Architecture and Civil Engineering covers not only the plan of region and city, but also the design of industrial and civil buildings. Besides, it relates to the survey, design, construction, maintenance and management of various Engineering facilities and the environment. The master degree of Architecture and Civil Engineering in our school was founded in 2010 and there are 3 doctorial tutors, 5 professors, and 13 people who has a doctor’s degree. Till now, we have taken charge of 2 State 863 Projects, 4 National Natural Science Foundations, more than 20 provincial scientific research projects and lateral researches.


Major Research Direction: Structural dynamic analysis of the engineering application, structural damage, fracture analysis of the engineering application, engineering structure identification and reinforcement, new building materials and construction, civil engineering management. The main research contents are as follows: engineering structure dynamic analysis method and test technology; engineering structure of ultimate bearing capacity evaluation and applications.; the interaction with structure, fluid and soil; damage research in engineering structure and engineering application; engineering and application of fracture mechanics; concrete fracture mechanics and applications; functional materials structure mechanics and engineering application; engineering structure health monitoring and parameter identification; testing and reinforcement of the engineering structure design; reinforced concrete structure technology application; the new high-rise reinforced concrete structure design; new building materials and applications; new type of composite structure design; urban and rural infrastructure planning and management; 3s technology development and management decision support information system; construction engineering project management; urban comprehensive disaster prevention plan of practical technology.


The thesis of the postgraduate are carried on research
which are combined with the current research projects of national, provincial or municipal level.

Structural Engineering

Subject introduction


Structural engineering is one of six secondary discipline of civil engineering.Research in civil engineering with a common structure selection, mechanical analysis, design theory, construction technology and management.Structural engineering is mechanical method to analyze the internal force of buildings and structures in all kinds of loads and deformation, the internal force and deformation control structure, to ensure the reliability of the structure in construction and use process.Structural engineering master's degree program is the secondary discipline in our school is approved to set up in 2010, the existing 2 doctoral tutor, professor of four people, has a doctorate in personnel 10 people. Currently undertaken two national "863" plan, the national natural science fund item 2, more than 20 provincial scientific research project and transverse subject.


The main research directions:Structural dynamic analysis and engineering applications, the failure mechanism and fracture analysis, identification and reinforcement of structural engineering, new building materials and structures.The main research contents:Engineering structure dynamic analysis method and test technology; Engineering, soil structure and fluid interaction; Functional materials structural dynamics; Engineering structure damage mechanism research; Engineering fracture mechanics; Concrete fracture mechanics; Engineering structure of ultimate bearing capacity evaluation and applications. Bridge and TunnelEngineering

Transportation construction plays a very important advance role in the country's economic development.In the construction of roads,railway and city traffic,it can build varieties of bridges and tunnel structures for crossing the river,ravines,channel and passing through the mountains and water.Bridge and Tunnel Engineering is a discipline of Civil Engineering and has the very strong practical engineering of design, construction and project management as a whole, aiming to cultivate various senior technical and management personnel related to engineering construction field.The subject oriented foundation engineering construction in national economic construction, involving civil engineering,port,traffic,hydrology, mining, railway and airport and other infrastructure construction.

In addition to sharing many basic theories with structural engineering disciplines,there are certain peculiarities between the discipline of bridge and tunnel engineering and the hydrology, geology, loads, structural system and foundation engineering.
