Officially established in April 2010, the Ocean University of China Education Foundation Shan Dong（OUCEF） is a nonpublic foundation approved by the Department of Civil affairs of Shandong Province and under the direct administration of the Shandong Provincial Education Department. It is an agency of Ocean University of China (OUC) established to accept social donations, and to coordinate and manage those donations. Its purposeis to fully support and promote the development of OUC and the cause of educational at large.
What do we do?
(A) Improve the environment of and facilities for teaching and scientific research at OUC;
(B) Provide funding for OUC to carry out teaching projects and scientific research, as well as publish monographs;
(C) Fund the recruitment of talented professionals as well as world-renowned scholars and scientists to give lectures at OUC;
(D) Fund the development of international cooperation projects and academic conferences sponsored by OUC;
(E) Establish scholarships, grants, and teaching awards;
(F) Fund every activity that is conducive to the well-rounded development of students;
(G) Support and invest in other non-profit projects which are related to the educational purposesof OUC;
(H) Develop projects which are beneficial to the cause of education, according to the requirementsof the donors.
