On February 2, a delegation led by Vice-Rector Yuri Mazei of Lomonosov Moscow State University visited Ocean University of China. Prof. Wei Zhiqiang, Vice President of OUC, met with the guests. 

Vice President Wei extended a warm welcome to Prof. Mazei and his delegation, and introduced OUC, its distinctive advantages, and its exchange and cooperation with Russian universities. He expressed his anticipation to establish a partnership with Lomonosov Moscow State University, pursue joint development and expand cooperation in marine science, polar studies, biology, mathematics and other fields. 

Prof. Mazei expressed his thanks for the warm reception and introduced Lomonosov Moscow State University. He reviewed his exchanges and cooperation with OUC and hoped the two universities could carry out substantive cooperation through student exchange, joint laboratories and the building of an alliance for marine-related universities of BRICS countries.
