Marine Life Science & Technology Scored High in CiteScore 2022

On June 8th, Elsevier announced the CiteScore (2022) for academic journals. Marine Life Science & Technology (MLST), an English journal jointly hosted by Ocean University of China and Laoshan Laboratory, received a CiteScore of 8.2, the first score it received since its inclusion in the Scopus database last year. It ranked the 13th among the 228 journals in Aquatic Science in Agricultural and Biological Sciences, and the 10th in the 136 journals in Marine Science in Earth and Planetary Sciences. 


CiteScore is an important indicator that measures the average impact of academic journals. The high score and percentile ranking in the Scopus database received by MLST demonstrate its academic influence, indicating that it has gained an important position and academic recognition in relevant fields. MLST will continue to work towards its goal of becoming a flagship journal, and better facilitate the dissemination of high-end technological achievements in marine life.
