Research and Applications of Key Technologies for the Effective Use of Protein, Saccharides and Lipid Resources from Marine Aquatic Products

Currently, the low value aquatic products and scraps are not being fully utilized in China’s mariculture industry. Against this backdrop, with more than 20 years of original and integrated innovation, breakthroughs have been made in the key technologies for the effective use of protein, saccharides, and lipid resources from marine aquatic products, thus promoting the effectiveness of using marine aquatic resources and generating a series of high-value processed products. The project boasts 14 authorized patents for invention, which brings it to a level of international excellence. The above-mentioned research results have been successively commercialized by leading enterprises of aquatic products and health products processing.

 

This project was awarded second place in the National Awards for Science and Technology Progress in 2010.
