Research Interests

We are focusing on the design, synthesis of nanomaterials and their application in the area of biology, energy and environment. One major area is low dimensional carbon nanomaterials such as carbon quantum dots, graphene, graphdiyne, etc., investigating their synthesis methods and application in bio-imaging, probe and anti-malaria. Another research area is functional nanomaterials for environmental remediation, CO2 conversion and water splitting for hydrogen
