Dr. Wu Dexing, President of Ocean University of China (OUC), met with Prof. Thomas Bianchi, a well-known chemical oceanographer from Texas A&M University (TAMU), at Laoshan Campus on September 26, 2012.

President Wu extended his congratulations to Dr. Bianchi on the successful convocation of a Sino-U.S. joint workshop on the organic biogeochemistry in the marginal seas.  “ You have made a great contribution to promoting the collaboration between TAMU and OUC. In addition, we are very much impressed by the academic talk you gave to our graduate students on how to apply our imagination to scientific research,” said President Wu.The meeting was also attended by Dr. Yu Zhigang, chairman of the University Council, and Dr. Fu Gang, executive deputy director of Graduate School.
