On December 8, 2010, a ceremony was held at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering to appoint Professor Alfonso Mucci from McGill University, Canada, and Professor Jean-Eric Tremblay from the University Laval, Canada, to be guest professors at Ocean University of China（OUC）.
