Ocean University of China (OUC) was pleased to receive the visit of a delegation from the Bahamas on Nov.17, 2015, at the Laoshan campus. They were welcomed by President Yu Zhigang and Vice President Li Huajun.

The signing ceremony for software denoted by Schlumberger, the world leading information solutions company, was held at the Laoshan campus of Ocean University of China (OUC) on November 10, 2015. As representatives of the two sides, Mr. Zhang Xipo, the General Manager of Schlumberger SIS North Asia Branch, and Mr. Wang Jianmin, the Chief Financial Officer of OUC, signed the agreement for the software donation and exchanged commemorative plaques.

OUC-CHINA IGEM, a team of 11 undergraduate students, was recently, awarded the silver medal for the International Genetically Engineered Machine Competition (IGEM), and an individual prize for Interlab Study at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the U.S.
