On April 8, a delegation led by Ms. Lori Hocking, Pro Vice Chancellor of Adelaide University, visited Ocean University of China (OUC). Professor Liu Yong, Vice President of OUC, met with the guests, and the two sides held discussions on deepening strategic cooperation.
Vice President Liu Yong welcomed Pro Vice Chancellor Lori Hocking and her delegation, and reviewed the long-standing exchanges and fruitful cooperation between the two universities. He noted that over the past six years, Haide College, the Sino-foreign cooperative education institution jointly established by the two universities, has achieved remarkable results and cultivated many outstanding students, becoming a key initiative in OUC’s international talent cultivation and high-level educational cooperation. He expressed the hope that the two universities would further deepen their comprehensive partnership, strengthen close collaboration in talent cultivation, academic exchange, and research, and work together to achieve even more fruitful outcomes.
Pro Vice Chancellor Lori Hocking said that Adelaide University attaches great importance to its partnership with OUC, and that the successful completion of the university merger this year has created new opportunities for the two sides to deepen strategic cooperation. She expressed the hope that both universities would continue to work closely with Haide College as the core platform, jointly promote the College’s high-quality and sustained development, and expand exchanges and cooperation to more areas.
