In September 2025, Marine Economics, edited by Professor Han Limin of OUC, was officially published by Economic Science Press. Based on the earlier textbook Introduction to Marine Economics, this book is the result of more than a year of systematic revision. This edition responds proactively to the profound changes that have taken place in China’s marine economy over the past 8 years and presents an important exploration and concrete practice aimed at three central goals, namely, building a theoretical system of marine economics, advancing the prosperity of marine economic research, and better serving China’s endeavor to become a strong maritime country.
Marine Economics draws extensively on the latest theoretical and practical achievements in maritime economics at home and abroad.
