From October 20 to 26, the 2024 Sino-French Engineering Education Forum and International Conference on Intelligent Data Analytics and Sustainable Systems, hosted by Ocean University of China (OUC), was held in Qingdao. Antoine GOULLET, Vice President of the University of Nantes, Philippe Dépincé, Director of Polytech Nantes, Liu Yong, Vice President of OUC, and Li Yan, Assistant President of OUC, attended the conference.

On behalf of OUC, Liu Yong extended a warm welcome to all the attendees. He noted that OUC has forged strong partnerships with many French universities and achieved fruitful outcomes in education and research cooperation. The Sino-French Joint Training Program for Outstanding Engineers is an important cooperation platform for OUC and the University of Nantes. It is hoped that the two sides  would continue to join hands in cultivating talent with global competitiveness.

Antoine GOULLET extended his congratulations on OUC’s 100th anniversary. He presented the founding history and educational philosophy of the University of Nantes. He noted that the University of Nantes attaches great importance to cooperation with OUC and looks forward to achieving more fruitful results in areas such as cooperative education and academic exchanges.

Philippe Dépincé elaborated on the Sino-French Joint Training Program for Outstanding Engineers, and introduced the study, life and employment of students in France. He expressed the hope to strengthen cooperation with OUC in more disciplinary fields, and jointly cultivate outstanding engineering talent.
