EcoEnergy International Academic Conference on Green Energy and Sustainable Development 2024 Held


From October 23 to 26, the EcoEnergy International Academic Conference on Green Energy and Sustainable Development 2024 was held in Qingdao. The conference was co-organized by Ocean University of China (OUC), Wiley, and EcoEnergy. Yang Maochun, Vice Chair of the OUC Council, attended the conference.


Yang Maochun highlighted that the conference, in celebration of OUC’s centenary, focused on key technological challenges in developing a high-quality, efficient, sustainable, and ecologically balanced green energy industry, and represented a proactive measure to enhance innovation in green energy. 


Professor Li Xianguo, from the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at OUC, presided over the opening ceremony. During the conference, experts and scholars delivered presentations at five sub-forums, covering topics such as energy catalysis, energy-environment intersections, energy and environmental materials, and energy storage. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions about the latest research progress and future development trends. A total of 193 reports were delivered, which attracted nearly 500 representatives from home and abroad.
