I. Canteens

(I) Yushan Campus

1. Xueyuan Canteen

Introduction: Located next to Gate 5 on Taohai Road of Yushan Campus, Xueyuan Canteen comprises three floors: the first floor is the dining hall, the second floor provides snacks and study spaces, and the third floor is for faculty and staff.

2.Shiyuan Restaurant

Introduction: Yushan Shiyuan Restaurant, located near the basketball court on Yinghai Road at Yushan Campus and adjacent to the Shengli Building, offers students and faculty over a hundred food choices from more than ten snack stalls.

(II) Fushan Campus

Taoliyuan Canteen

Introduction: Taoliyuan Canteen, located next to the International Student Apartments on the Fushan Campus (on the left side when entering from Gate 9 on Qingdao 1st Road), offers a spacious and elegant dining environment, providing healthy, nutritious, and delicious food for students, faculty, and faculty family members.

(III) Laoshan Campus

1. Specialty Restaurant, Canteen No.1 (1st Floor)

Introduction: This 24-hour restaurant, which is on the first floor of Canteen No.1, is located on Minxing Middle Road in the Beihaiyuan Area of the Laoshan Campus, with over 20 snack stalls offering a variety of Chinese and Western delicacies.

2. Dining Hall of Canteen No. 1 (2nd Floor)

Introduction: This dining hall, which is on the second floor of Canteen No.1, is located on the Minxing Middle Road in the Beihaiyuan Area of the Laoshan Campus. It is highly favored by students and faculty alike for its wide variety of dishes, including home-style dishes, set meals, and optional dishes, as well as popular snacks.

3. Hailan Restaurant

Introduction: This restaurant, located on the third floor of Canteen No. 1, has direct elevator access from the south side of the canteen (near the volleyball court) and features multiple dining areas. Zunshi Hall No.1 is equipped with an audio-visual system and can accommodate various student and faculty group activities, while also selling fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as meat, eggs, and milk.

Open to students for dinner from Monday to Friday, and for lunch and dinner each Saturday and Sunday.

4. Haiyun 2006 Bakery

Introduction: Haiyun 2006 Bakery, which is located on the first floor of Canteen No.1 in Beihaiyuan Area, offers bread, coffee, bubble tea, birthday cakes, OUC mooncakes, tea break snacks, desserts, and light meals to students and faculty, with breakfast items available at the counter. It is distinguished by providing healthy, additive-free food.

5. Dining Hall of Canteen No. 2 (1st Floor)

Introduction: This dining hall, which is on the first floor of Canteen No.2, is located on the Minxing Middle Road in the Beihaiyuan Area of the Laoshan Campus, offers a variety of dishes in different price ranges to meet the diverse needs of both students and faculty.

6. Specialty Restaurant, Canteen No.2 (2nd Floor)

Introduction: This restaurant is on the second floor of Canteen No.2, which is located on the Minxing Middle Road in the Beihaiyuan Area of the Laoshan Campus. The ocean-themed restaurant is decorated in blue, white, and yellow, and its diverse dining seating arrangements achieve functional zoning to meet the personalized dining needs of faculty and students alike.

7. Chaoyin Restaurant

Introduction: Situated on the third floor of Canteen No. 2 in the Beihaiyuan Area at Laoshan Campus, the restaurant serves as a reception restaurant for faculty and students, featuring 9 reception rooms named after key years following the establishment of OUC. The dining hall can accommodate more than 20 banquet tables.

8. Halal Restaurant in Beihaiyuan Area

Introduction: Located opposite the basketball court on Minxing Middle Road of the Laoshan Campus, the restaurant features a reasonable mix of multi-level dishes, catering to the dietary habits of students from different regions and ethnic groups. The stalls occasionally introduce dishes and snacks with strong local flavors while ensuring the availability of beef and mutton dishes.

9. Canteen No. 3

Introduction: This canteen, situated to the west of the main entrance of the Nanhaiyuan Area on the Laoshan Campus, is a famous spot in OUC that features grand Chinese-style decor. Handmade boiled dumplings and self-selected dishes sold by weight are the star dishes. In addition, the canteen continuously introduces new dishes to meet the diverse tastes of faculty and students.

10. Canteen No. 4

Introduction: This canteen is located on the left side of the main entrance of the Nanhaiyuan Area on the Laoshan Campus. Following renovation in 2022, the dining area is more flexible in functional zoning and specializes in local cuisines as well as coffee and other drinks. Equipped with a stage and audio-visual system, it can host various activities for faculty and students.

11. Canteen No. 5 (with ethnic dishes)

Introduction: This canteen, which is located within the Donghaiyuan  Area (student dormitory area) of the Laoshan Campus, offers a wide variety of dishes, including classic dishes, local delicacies, and ethnic specialties, while also setting up stalls to provide aid for agricultural support.

12. KFC (OUC Branch)

Introduction: The store, which is on the first floor of Canteen No.1 on the Minxing Middle Road in the Beihaiyuan Area of the Laoshan Campus, is a new catering format introduced by the university in 2022.

(IV) West Coast Campus

1. Dining Hall of Tinghai Canteen (1st Floor)

Introduction: This dining hall, situated on the first floor of Tinghai Canteen in the East Zone of the West Coast Campus, offers a wide range of dishes, including home-style dishes, optional dishes, and popular snacks. It also features a beverage area and an outdoor leisure seating area.

Introduction: This restaurant, which is located on the second floor of the Tinghai Canteen in the East Zone of the West Coast Campus, offers a variety of dishes loved by students, including home-style meals, set meals, two-in-one dishes, and optional dishes.

3.Dining Hall of Wanghai Canteen (1st Floor) (with ethnic dishes)

Introduction: This dining hall, which is on the first floor of Wanghai Canteen in the West Zone of the West Coast Campus, provides a diverse range of dishes. In addition, there is an ethnic restaurant catering to ethnic minority students and faculty.

Introduction: This restaurant, which is situated on the second floor of Wanghai Canteen in the West Zone of the West Coast Campus, features leisure booths with sofa seating, Western-style booths, and sea view booths, and offers a wide selection of cuisine and diverse food flavors.

5. Faculty Restaurant, Wanghai Canteen (3rd Floor)

Introduction: This restaurant, located on the third floor of Wanghai Canteen in the West Zone of the West Coast Campus, has a comfortable and pleasant decor and three private dining rooms. It mainly provides self-selected dishes, which are charged by weight and change on a daily basis, and it also regularly offers specialty items.

II. UniBus

(I) Shuttle Bus

Introduction:

The Logistics Support Office has 16 shuttle buses now, which are primarily responsible for providing transportation services to faculty members and students between the Laoshan, Fushan, Yushan, and West Coast campuses, as well as the Jiushui Xiuyuan area for daily commuting and other outbound requirements. Adhering to the service philosophy of “safety and passengers first,” we are committed to providing high-quality commuting services for both OUC faculty members and students.

2. Campus Bus on Laoshan Campus

Introduction:

Ten sightseeing buses, which serve as campus buses on the Laoshan Campus, are primarily responsible for meeting the daily transportation needs of faculty and students within the Laoshan Campus, as well as providing transportation support for important University activities. The Campus Bus Service Team aims to provide a first-class experience for OUC students and faculty members through standardized management and meticulous services.

III. International Student Apartments

There are a total of 6 international student apartment buildings located in the Laoshan, Yushan, and West Coast campuses, which mainly accommodate international students from the School of International Education and students in overseas programs. The apartments offer 669 rooms, including single rooms, double rooms, and suites for up to 1,366 students.

Facilities, such as a private bathroom, air conditioner, water heater, and broadband, are provided in each room. These buildings house shared kitchens, self-service laundry rooms, gyms, and study rooms, as well as security surveillance systems, access control systems, and staff, including accommodation counselors, cleaners, and 24-hour duty janitors for management and service. All campuses have Student Comprehensive Service Halls for services such as student check-in and check-out, water and electricity payments, and repair applications.

In addition to 214 students participating in overseas programs, there are 242 international students from 56 countries, including France, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Japan, South Korea, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe currently living in the apartments.
