On May 31, Dr. Jessica Gallagher, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (External Engagement) of the University of Adelaide (UoA) visited OUC. President Yu Zhigang and Vice President Liu Yong met with the delegation and the two sides had an in-depth discussion about further cooperation. 

President Yu extended his warm welcome to the delegation and briefly reviewed the history of friendly exchanges between the two universities. He fully recognized the success of Haide College and proposed that high-quality educational resources could be shared across the whole university. At the same time, OUC will further strengthen practical cooperation with UoA in talent cultivation, scientific research, and other fields, striving to bring the cooperation to a higher level and make more achievements. 

Dr. Gallagher expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and spoke highly of what has been achieved in cooperative education and academic exchanges. She also introduced the strengths and recent development of UoA. Since 2019, experts and scholars from the two universities have jointly published more than 50 high-level academic papers covering disciplines such as physics, mathematics, medicine, energy science, and engineering. In the future, she hopes to strengthen the tie with OUC in academic exchanges and cooperation in more disciplines.
