OUC research enters World Advanced Basic Interdisciplinary Progresses 2016

Published in German journal of Applied Chemistry, the paper of Solar cell technology for power-generation in rainy days by Tang Qunwei, Professor of OUC Institute of Material Science and Engineering, recently entered the World Advanced Basic Interdisciplinary Progresses 2016 --- first time for OUC to enter it with innovation on photovoltaic.

37 research results in 12 areas entered 2016 series, of which 34 were from western countries, 1 was Sino-US joint research and only 2 were independently performed by China, covering core mathematics, brain-like computing, condensed matter physics, elementary particle, galaxies and cosmology, gravitational-wave astronomy, superconducting quantum, light field control, quantum optics, computing chemistry, new energy chemistry and nano-biology.

It is the Institute for Innovation Strategies, Chinese Association of Science and Technology that went through the progresses made in 2016, especially in advanced basic interdisciplinary sciences, new energy, life science and new-generation information technology for releasing a series of reports on them by consulting the experts from Chinese Materials Research Society, Chinese Institute of Electronics, the Consortium of Life Science Societies, China Mechanical Engineering Society, China agronomical Society, China Association of Agricultural Science Societies, China Institute of Environmental Sciences and China Astronavigation Society.
