Professor Li Huajun, vice president of Ocean University of China (OUC) met with Dr. Marcia Salazar-Valentine, executive director of international programs & partnerships office of Bowling Green State University (BGSU) on June 23, 2015 at the Laoshan campus, to discuss possibilities of cooperation in student mobility and other academic exchange activities between the two universities.

Professor Li Huajun said both universities share so many commonalities in teaching and research, which is the foundation for building close bilateral collaborative ties, saying efforts should be made in increasing the mutual understanding of faculty and students of each other’s university, since OUC and BGSU have reached a preliminary agreement on cooperation.

“We welcome students from BGSU to study here at OUC, and we are looking forward to further collaboration in more areas,” said Vice President Li.

Representatives from OUC’s International Office and School of International Education were also present at the meeting.
