Professor Dong Shuanglin, Vice President of the Ocean University of China (OUC) met a Russian delegation from Far East Federal University led by Dr. Yelena, assistant to the President, exchanging ideas on how to deepen mutual understanding and extending fields of cooperation.

In his speech, Professor Dong Shuanglin expressed his welcome and briefed the participants on OUC and its partnership with higher learning institutions as well as research institutes in Russia. He also hoped that the two sides deepen mutual understanding, explore cooperative fields of common interest, and conduct communication and collaboration actively.

Dr. Yelena also introduced Far East Federal University and stated that the purpose of this visiting was to further mutual friendly cooperation and exchange views on jointly establishing a “OUC Russian Language Center,” so as to streamline faculty and students mobility and conduct communication on scientific research and culture.
