The Chinese boxing team of eight (three male and five female) won one gold, one silver and three bronze medals in the 66th annual Strandja International Boxing Tournament, February 24-28, in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Li Qian and Yang Wenlu, both female boxers in the national team and also students majoring in athletic training at Ocean University of China (OUC) took a gold medal in women’s 75-kilogram division and a bronze medal in women’s 64-kilogram division.

Over 240 competitors from 35 countries took part in the 2015 annual Strandja International Boxing Tournament.
