Prof. Dong Shuanglin, Vice President of the Ocean University of China (OUC), held talks on October 25, 2014 at Huanghai Hotel with Prof. Ariane Plourdes, Director of the Institute des Sciences de la Mer de Rimouski at the University of Quebec at Rimouski (UQR), and signed an agreement on joint PhD programs.

Prof. Dong extended his warm welcome to Prof. Ariane Plourdes and her colleagues participating in the celebration of the 90th anniversary of OUC. He hoped that the two sides could take this opportunity to sign an agreement to deepen their cooperative relationship.

Prof. Ariane Plourdes said that brilliant graduate students of OUC are warmly welcomed to study at the University of Quebec at Rimouski and that the two universities could conduct exchanges and cooperation on a much wider range of fields.

During the talk, which was also attended by representatives from UQR and the Graduate School of OUC, Prof. Dong Shuanglin and Prof. Ariane Plourdes discussed the details of the agreement.
