The department of Materials Chemistry’s mission is to provide a well-rounded education in materials chemistry to meet the needs of industry, academia and governmenthome and abroad. Up-to-date information and technology in Materials Chemistry are available to our students equipped to meet the challenges of the future.
Requirements
Undergraduates are requested to meet the following demands before the degree is granted: a good command of rudimental theories of mathematics, physics and chemistry; a grasp of experimental skills of material preparation, processing, and analytical methods of material structural and characteristics;familiar with material corrosion and protection under marine environment; capable of references searching and organizing with the use of foreign languages, and follow the advancement of material chemistry assisted with modern IT techniques; acknowledge soft-skills like academic communication, paper/proposal writing and experiments designing.
