Professor Raymond Andersen of University of British Columbia is engaged as visiting professor at Ocean University of China

On the morning of November 15, 2019, the appointment ceremony of the visiting professor of Ocean University of China was held in the A202 conference room.The ceremony was chaired by Yanli Gong, who is the deputy director of the school's personnel department.Party and government leaders of School of Medicine and Pharmacy attended the meeting.

At the ceremony, Professor ZhenWang, Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Medicine and Pharmacy, introduced Professor Andersen's resume and academic achievements.Professor Raymond Andersen is very grateful to the invitation and trust, and is very honored to be appointed as a visiting professor of Ocean University of China.

Under the leadership of Academician Huashi Guan, the School of Medicine and Pharmacy has made a series of important achievements in the field of marine drug research. Professor Andersen joins Ocean University of China, which will strengthen the scientific research strength of the School of Medicine and Pharmacy, promote the implementation of the Blue Medicine Library development plan, and deepens the cooperation between Ocean University of China and University of British Columbia in Canada.
