Based on the frontiers of pharmaceutical research and the characteristics and advantages of laboratories, combined with the latest research progress in the fields of medicine and biology, using marine bioactive molecules as probes to study marine active substances in tumors (metabolism, immunity, etc.), infections ( Mechanisms of action in important pathological processes such as drug-resistant pathogens and viruses), metabolic diseases (diabetes), and the discovery of key target molecules; elucidation of the role and molecular role of protein O-GlcNAc modification in the development of tumors and metabolic diseases mechanism; use zebrafish model to discover new regulatory factors of Wnt/β-catenin and HIF signaling pathway, and to analyze its mechanism of action and its relationship with tumorigenesis; through the above studies, identify key node molecules, and in cell and animal level, the target of drug action is confirmed, and a new target for potential drug action is found. Establish screening systems covering molecular, cellular, and animal levels for screening marine active compounds, and conduct drug-based evaluation and preclinical studies.
