Overview
The
International Workshop on Computational Mathematics and Scientific Computing
(IWCMSC2017) will be held from June 28 to July 2, 2017 at Ocean University of
China in Qingdao, P. R. China. The objective of the workshop is to bring
together mathematicians and researchers to discuss recent and prospective
advances in computational mathematics and scientific computing. In recent
years, owing to the significant requirements for scientific computing and
applications, many new and efficient numerical methods have been developed and
analyzed in computational mathematics. Hence, the main theme of the workshop
will focus on numerical methods for partial differential equations by
emphasizing new advances, and will also emphasize design and analysis of
algorithms in applications of scientific computing, especially in science,
environment, energy, finance, medicine, and engineering, etc. The workshop will
provide an excellent opportunity for participants to meet and exchange ideas on
common interests and to discuss new challenges facing our community in this
area.
