Teach Oral English, English Composition, Advanced Readings in English, and Newspaper Readings to undergraduates of English majors and non-majors as well as to postgraduates and PhD Candidates.
Research Interests
Focus on English language teaching method research and English cultural understanding and Delivering in universities. Also interested in Chinese and English language and culture exchange.
Representative Publications and Achievements
Academic paper ‘Cultural Differences and Differences in Expectations in Teaching English World Wide, with Special Reference to Chinese Classrooms’ won third prize of Excellent Papers for Shandong Provincial Department of Education.
Chief Editor of ‘Slang of London City’, published by China Machine Press in 2004, was the first domestic professional book in China introducing British slangs to Chinese students. This book was awarded by Qingdao Academy of Social Sciences as Outstanding Achievement in 2005.
