Institute of linguistics

Institute of linguistics, founded in 2015, aims to gather the strength of young teachers to carry out the study of linguistics so as to better serve the foreign language teaching in our college. Currently 30 teachers, from five departments, that is, English, Japanese, Korean, French and German, major in language study. Research areas include descriptive linguistics, functional linguistics, cognitive linguistics, social linguistics, pragmatics and contrastive linguistics. Institute of linguistics helps guarantee the continuous improvement of foreign language teaching in our college, and also serves as a window for our international communication and exchange.
