Research Interests

My research interests include psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, second language acquisition, stylistics. Among them, I am particularly interested in second language vocabulary from five aspects: teaching, learning, acquiring, storing and retrieving. Recently I like to know how English words are acquired, represented and retrieved in English learners’ bilingual mental lexicon.

At present, our team focuses on the studies on noun-verb dissociation and code-switching effects in English-Chinese bilingual mental lexicon based on ERP technology. And we would like to collaborate on research projects that investigate lexical and syntactic processing for second language learners using behavioral or ERP methods.
