MAO Wenjun, Ph. D., professor, Ph. D. supervisor.

 

Research in hergroupfocuses on isolation, structure, molecular modification and structure-activity relationship of carbohydrates from marine organisms. Her group also is conductingthe development and research of marine carbohydrate-based drugs and biological engineering products.In recent years, she has taken charge of many important projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key Technology R&D Program, National Science and Technology Major Project, Doctoral Program of Higher Education of China, Science and Technology Development Program of Shandong Province, Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province, Science and Technology Development Program of Qingdao. She has published more than 40 research papers in the academic journals which have been included in SCIand holds 2 patents.She and her co-workers have co-authored 5 scientific books. She has been the recipient of a number of awards, including first-class award of technology invention of People’s Republic of China, first-class award of technology invention from the ministry of education, second-class award of science and technology from Shandong Provincial Government, third-class award of science and technology of Shandong Provincial Government, and second-class award of science and technology of Qingdao Government.
