lMarine Geology.

2.Application

lLi’s expertise is on Research interest Marine Sedimentology, Seafloor engneering environment, Estuary processes and Remote sensing. He is the director of the College of Marine Geosciences, Ocean University of China. For over 13 years he has managed one strong research group (two teams) in marine sedimentology and environment, and marine mineral resource. The group presently includes 15 research scientists, 2 postdocs, 15 doctoral students and has developed collaborative relationships with many institutions in the China, UK and USA. He has 5 ongoing research programs from NNSF, Ministry of Land and Resources and the state oceanic administration, China. He published over 100journal articles. Li’s work has made a significant impact on the understanding of important processes off the Yellow River delta, environmental evolution in East China Sea, and the hazard in platform and submarine tube system.

3. Recent interests

lMarine Sedimentology, Seafloor engneering environment, Estuary processes.
