China’s Top 10 Geological Science and Technology Advances and Top 10 Achievements of Geological Prospecting in 2021 were announced. 

Prof. Jia Yonggang’s research finding, which led to the world’s first set of in-situ long-term monitoring equipment for deep-sea engineering in complex geological environment, was listed. This is the first time for OUC to enter the list, recognizing OUC’s growing innovative capability in the field. It also demonstrates the important role that OUC plays in serving the country’s strategic needs and in tackling bottleneck technological issues.
